Human/Nature is a a series of works that contrasts human made with natural structures, using images of Norfolk Island.
It did not take long to realise that in the context of contrasting human and natural structures, in-between spaces emerge. That would be those situations where the human and the natural play equal roles. The image of the wood in the centre of this work, is of Norfolk Pine, when used to line walls. So the humans have taken the tree, cut it down, sawn it into thin sheets and what remains is the natural patterning of the wood telling the tale of it's growth.
