Parallel universes
One of the consequences of quantum theory is that at fundamental levels, mass resolves to a multiplicity: a ten dimensional universe. These dimensional universes exist side by side with our own more familiar four dimensions (three of space and one of time). Some of the 'other' universes may be quite similar, but not exactly the same as ours.
The above was the inspiration for creating this work, consisting of two parallel lines of ten hybrid Polynesian forms, differing in the placement of two of the forms. Ten mirrors and ten fluorescent pink shapes make up the work.
