The project control box was custom made by Shipley's Audiovisual. It takes movement (detected by three motion sensors) as input and converts that into patterns of lights flashing. There are two control knobs for fine tuning. The thing about electronic media is that is does have this amazing capacity to convert one kind of signal into another that is completely different.
